Patnd is a price-comparison tool that searches UK secondhand marketplaces to find you the cheapest price. This policy explains, in plain English, what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
The short version: You can search on Patnd without giving us anything. We only ask for your email if you want price alerts or a Pro subscription. We don't sell your data, we don't track your browsing, and we don't build advertising profiles.

We collect the minimum needed to make the service work:
The Patnd Chrome extension uses local browser storage to save your email address on your own device, so that Pro subscribers stay signed in between sessions and receive clean links without affiliate tags. That's the only thing it stores. It does not read your browsing history, monitor your activity, or extract content from the pages you visit.
Patnd is free to use. To support the service, some links to marketplace listings may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them — at no extra cost to you. This never affects how results are ranked: listings are always ordered by real total price, and we do not accept payment to rank an item higher. Pro subscribers receive clean links with no affiliate tags.
We share data only with the service providers we need to operate:
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose data if required to do so by law.
We keep your account data for as long as your account or alerts are active. If you cancel your alerts or ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data. Aggregated, anonymised price data (which contains no personal information) may be retained to power price-history features.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@patnd.com and we'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.
You can also cancel any price alert at any time using the "manage or cancel" link included in every alert email.
The Patnd website uses local browser storage to remember your email address (if you've entered one) so you don't have to type it again. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Patnd is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on the site.
